Remember the dead, fight for the living
Nobody in this city should need to be reminded of how dangerous workplaces can be.
On 28 April each year- International Workers’ Memorial Day- we remember the dead and fight for the living.
This year on Saturday 28th April please gather at the Persley Walled Garden, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen at 12.30 for the memorial event at 13:00.
Unionised workplaces are safer workplaces
Workplaces where there are active trade union Health & Safety reps are twice as safe as those without.
Where health and safety isn’t taken seriously staff get injured, become ill, are left with a permanent avoidable disability, have their careers cut short or sometimes die.
If you have concerns about anything in the workplace that might now or in future affect yours or your colleagues’ health or safety, please contact your UNISON Health & Safety reps:

- Mark Musk: MARKM@aberdeencity.gov.uk
