Take One Action – Scotland’s global change cinema project – returns to Aberdeen to premiere the most acclaimed international documentaries focusing on social and environmental justice.
Our specially curated programme of documentaries brings you the best international cinema on the most urgent issues of our time. Whether celebrating a Kenyan farmer’s extraordinary determination as he battles the causes and impacts of climate change (Thank You for the Rain) or delving into transformational efforts towards peace in Israel and Palestine (Disturbing the Peace); whether giving voice to two Tunisian women’s starkly contrasting hopes for their country’s post-Arab Spring future (A Revolution in Four Seasons) or exploring a concept that could be one of the most radical changes to our lives (Free Lunch Society), these films will immerse you in stories of hope, solidarity, and resilience.
Join us to celebrate the people and the movies that are changing the world.
